On the agenda for this month will be the reading of the Treasury Report, new merchant member announcements, any merchant member issues and the TNMA status report.

We will also be discussing new opportunities for the new year to improve our exposure such as marketing opportunities with Penny Pincher, Bronx Times and WFAS Radio as a group rates discount.

On the agenda for this month will be the swearing in of the 2011-2012 Board of Directors, the reading of the Treasury Report, new merchant member announcements, merchant member issues and the TNMA status report. Co-sponsor this month is TD Bank, with some loan opportunities. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet our Public Advocate, Bill DeBlasio at this meeting.
Come join us for our 4th Annual TNMA Dinner Dance. The celebration will begin promptly at 6:30 pm and continue until 11:00 pm.

Come and watch your local merchants sweat it out while raising much needed money for our local schools. This year will have Throggs Neck and Pelham Bay Merchants playing against Westchester Square and Morris Park Merchants. Everyone is welcome to wach and cheer our local merchants on. Spectators will have an opportunity to donate for this great cause at the game.

On April 5th, a credit fair will be held in the Bronx (please see the attachment for details). This fair will have the potential to assist many businesses that would be interested in growing their businesses. This fair is a wonderful opportunity to have small business owners, entrepreneurs and startups to meet in place with a wide variety of lenders to discuss small business loans and with other groups offering technical assistance with obtaining credit. Access to capital for the last two years has been frustrating for small business in New York City. The fair will have at least 12-15 different institutions present to work with the attendees.

This month the Bronx Business Alliance is sponsoring "A Business Dialogue", presented by "It's Strictly Business". This is part 1 of a 2 part interactive exchange that targets your own personal business concerns and needs, followed by a lively discussion about some possible opportunities for your commercial corridor.
The Throggs Neck Merchant Association & Assemblyman Michael Benedetto welcome the Holiday Season by lighting the Throggs Neck Christmas Tree on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 5pm at the Derosa/O'Boyle Triangle (TN Expressway Ext & E. Tremont). The Throggs Neck Merchant Association will provide toys for the first 300 children, along with hot chocolate & cookies and the St. Benedict's Choir will sing Christmas carols.
