I’m Bryan, a medical student from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine here in the Bronx. I am organizing donations of personal-protective equipment, PPE, from local businesses to support our local healthcare workers in the NYC area during the COVID-19 pandemic. We received your information from the Bronx Chamber of Commerce Business Directory as a leader in the local business community.
We were wondering if you could help us get the word out to local business owners who may be able to donate PPE to our local healthcare workers.
We are mainly looking for surgical and N95 masks, but are also accepting protective gowns, gloves, and other protective equipment. Complete boxes of supplies are preferred, but we will also accept loose items. No donation is too small! We have a dedicated team of medical student volunteers who can pick up supplies directly from local businesses. All donations will go directly to NYC healthcare workers at both public and private hospitals throughout the city through our partnership with PPE2NYC.com, a larger NYC-wide conglomerate of medical students.
